Perceived Value. What is it?

Our newest E-Book "Anti-Spam, Scams and Spam" has stirred up a Hornet's nest about Perceived Value. If you are marketing E-Books, or just purchasing them, then you need to know this.
Generally, you can get some idea of the value of a product from the price. That is, if you can get a preview of the content. But the Internet is changing and so are the buyers. There has been so much junk put out in E-Books that isn't worth giving away. The price is no longer the key to Perceived Value. "U pays ur dime and takes ur chances."
So many FREE E-Books are nothing more than a bunch of ads. The real professionals out there like Chayden Bates, Marlon Sanders, Jimmy Brown, Ken Evoy and more, know the value of Perceived Value even for FREE. You will never get junk from us or these other top marketers. Why? We all want your future business. If you don't get a Valuable product when you pay for it, you will remember that name and that will be the last sale they make to you. If you don't get Value in Content for your time to download and read a FREE E-Book The marketer will never sell you on follow up products.
Bottom line! Your money as well as your time has to count for everything with us, if we want to continue keeping your trust and selling you a product or service in the future. So, it really isn't about the money. It is about earning your trust and confidence by giving you VALUE for your money or time. If we do that and back up what we say, you will become a trusting and loyal client/friend.
Let's take my newest E-Book as an Example. I originally was going to offer it free. It had been suggested that I sell it for $29.95. A lot of time and research went into it and the content is invaluable. So I should sell it. The information needs to be in everybody's hands. So I should give it away. Now you are asking how I arrived at such a ridiculous price of $3.00?
Reason 1: This isn't an E-Book that you will refer to over and over like our E-Courses. They are designed as an ongoing reference to build your E-Business. You will read it a couple of times initially just to absorb the important content that you will get value from, then go back sometime in the near future and read it again. The awareness that the E-Book gives you should be checked against changes that happen in the future. Your awareness will come up and you will really be aware of the changes so you can take action.
Reason 2: If the E-Book were FREE, odds are that you would simply scan through it and the Value of the information would be lost within a few days. So by charging a token price, you will be more inclined to read it carefully. Also you will refer back to it.
Reason 3: We wanted a product that would be distributed across the Internet. This is information that everyone needs desperately. Compared to over 500 million people on the Internet, we only reach a small portion. You, on the other hand, have a reach beyond ours and your friends, family and clients have yet another reach. So how can we tap this resource? By making it available to you at a token price to reach our immediate market. By offering Resale Rights, you have the opportunity to reach still another audience and build an income stream which can then be passed on to others that your friends, family and clients can reach.
This is called "Viral Marketing". In the old days it was called "Word of Mouth". If you like something, you will want to share it. If you can develop a profit stream from it, you will have even more reason to want to share it. Hence, we have created Perceived Value regardless of the price.
So what are Resell Rights? When someone feels that a product/service needs to get out to the masses, the best way to see that it happens is to allow others to distribute it and keep all the profits. In other words, the right to resell it. It then becomes your own product/service to do with as you please (except physically recopy or plagiarize). You actually own the rights to market, give away, sell for profit, package with other product/services as an incentive or make it the key to something else you want to offer.
The author sells these rights to you for an agreed price and from there on it is yours to go with. So if you sold 10,000 at $7.50 each the whole profit is yours. Not shared with anyone else. If it sells your $29.95 package, you still own the rights and can use it over and over again unlimited times keeping any money you generate from the use of it.
