I wish I could promise that I could guarantee top ten listings for everyone. Unfortunaly only 10 sites can be in the top ten, everyone wants their site to appear there I earned several top ten listings I can tell you it's not that easy. Frankly I don't know any cheap or easy way to guanantee top ten listings.

The average webpage usually gets only a few visitors. I use the Submit Spider automated submission tool to regularly re-submit my pages. I set up a rotation schedule that re-submits each URL about once every six weeks to over 1000 places. I use batch submission a direct connection to the Internet, I also submit my clients pages.

I don't understand how so many people have developed all this expertise almost over-night. In fact I hardly get any email from anyone BUT experts. If they are really experts they would know how to attract your attention without invading your cyber-space.

Instant expertise is pretty easy to spot. They usually send out SPAM in all capital letters with titles like "BULK EMAIL PAYS" or ".MAKE $50,000 DOLLARS IN 90 DAYS WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING". This is so absurd - I couldn't make this up, yet I saw it in my email today.

If it was that easy wouldn't everyone be doing it? Why don't they just send me the check? Why are they so willing to share with me ?

Who are they anyway, they never leave me their actual e-mail address. I'm at a loss to understand how to even reach spammers.

If it's that easy everyone would be rich. :)

We will probably see even more SPAM in 1999 which brings me to my second prediction.

Where you see SPAM you'll see SCAMS. You can tell it's a SCAM when they feel the need to tell you that whatever their selling is "100% Legal". There are some good scambusters that have been around a long time like the Internet ScamBusters visit them and subscribe to their newsletter.

Another excellent e-zine is published by the MLM TRUTH Networking Consultants, I really enjoy and depend on their Newsletters.

Yes there are good MLM opportunities, they are hard to find. This year we will see more truly international MLMs. 1999 will spark the return of text based websites ( remember worldwide millions still pay by the minute for their Internet access). For example Alta Vista's ability's to do on the fly web site translations is part of a new trend making it possible to operate truly worldwide home based businesses.

The importance of really understanding the MLM income plan will remain the key. Many MLMs emphasize the benefits to YOU that comes by work done by "others".

Better plans usually don't need to use HYPE. I look for profitable products that can be sold over and over. If I can't sell the product retail at fair price, or if no-one wants it the product, I don't get involved, I also steer clear of most new technology businesses, what's new today is old tomorrow.

Most Home Based Businesses will not stand my $300 test.

The $300 test is just writing down the requirements to earn $300. *NOT* considering the work of others do because I can only count on what * I * can do.

There is a growing corporate trend, shifting away from middle level sales positions, If you are a traveling salesman and don't already hold a rock solid position you might consider that your company may already be looking towards the Internet to educate and service your accounts.

Large corporations are understanding the technology. They have the money, and are learning how to educate and service accounts at a lower cost and at a healthy profit. On the other hand this same trend 1999 will be a good year for home based re-selling business opportunities. If you take a demonstrated need for good products delivered on time at a lower price you have a golden opportunity for any computer enabled Internet savvy entrepreneur.

Almost everything sold on the Internet will have to be delivered, and much of it expedited.FedX UPS, and the US Postal service should grow like crazy this year. Over the next two years the Internet will change the way we shop.

The last major shift in Internet marketing is associate programs, or partner programs and the new two level associate programs. I am putting together a issue dedicated to them later this month.

One clear leader in this field is Amazon.com the book sales company with an unlimited virtual inventory and thousands of marketing "partners".

One of the problems with corporate partnerships is that it's hard to earn much money when the company makes the rules. However It's always been that way.
